Sydney's underground doesn't hand out credentials. You earn them in paint, in noise, in the kind of rooms where the bass rattles the walls and nobody checks who's on the flyer. Stiky Flaw is the project of Thomas Bezzi, a DJ, producer and singer-songwriter who came up through the inner west's graffiti lanes and warehouse raves before channelling that same restless energy into the studio.

His sound sits at the collision point of hard house, trance and dark driving techno, all filtered through years spent playing jazz guitar, going to punk shows and painting walls after midnight. It's a combination that gives his productions a raw, textured edge. The kind of music that feels like it was made by someone who's been on the dancefloor as much as behind the decks.

Original releases including "Highs," a progressive and uplifting epic trance cut built for main room moments, and the collaborative single "Alive" (featuring vocalist Taylor BW and saxophonist Matt Landi) showcase a producer equally comfortable building peak-time dancefloor weapons and emotionally charged vocal-driven records. With new music in the pipeline, Stiky Flaw is connecting the dots between street culture and club culture in a way that feels overdue.
