HARX

HARX is an emerging Sydney-based electronic artist developing a sound that brings together underground club music with the musical influences he grew up around in Kathmandu and the Himalayas. His sets move through Afro-tech, hypnotic house, techno, bass-driven sounds and occasional drum & bass, but the focus is always on creating a journey and finding unexpected connections between different styles.

HARX brings a unique live element into his sets, weaving bansuri and vocals into the music in real time. It adds something raw, human and spontaneous to the electronic sound, sometimes subtle and atmospheric, other times lifting the energy and creating one of those moments people really remember.

HARX is interested in pushing the boundaries of what a DJ set can be, blending cultures, rhythms and live musicianship rather than staying inside one genre. His Kathmandu and Himalayan roots come through naturally in the melodies, textures and feeling of the music, while the overall sound stays modern, underground and built for the dancefloor.

HARX is also producing original music and developing a distinctive sound built around rhythm, atmosphere, live performance and unexpected musical contrasts. The aim is simple: create memorable sets, take risks, connect with the crowd, and bring a fresh live-electronic identity to the underground scene.
