Wilma

Wilma began her journey in the classical scene when she developed a flair for the orchestral cello aged just seven years old. As her talent developed, her music taste grew, leading to an industrious youth that toured the world; astounding crowds that spanned from classical and pop to rock and electronica. In London in her early 20’s Wilma discovered a passion for dance music which led to over a decade of collaboration, live performances, production and DJ sets at the highest level. Her work now spans the length and breadth of the electronic music scene, from progressive and melodic house to deep rolling basslines and wicked techno. Her collaborative work has seen her sign with a string of major labels including trybesOF (w. Double Touch), The Soundgarden and All Day I Dream (w. Liam Sieker) counted amongst many more. Her hybrid DJ sets with electric cello have captivated crowds across the festival scene from Rainbow Serpent (Aus) to Burning Man (U.S). This has carved a personal sound that cannot be replicated and has seen Wilma grow into one of Australia’s most unique and captivating artists, with a host of exciting and prestigious international bookings in the pipeline; signifying the makings of a glorious career from which the best is yet to come.
