For over 16 years, James has dedicated himself to dance music and to developing a sound that has stood out for being truly unique. With an experimental flair, the Santa Catarina native from Joinville mixes indie dance, electro and other influences with a heavy dose of techno, consolidating a powerful and very characteristic sound.

Since 2016, Waltervelt has been developing this aesthetic, and in 2019, he was discovered by Maceo Plex, who highlighted him as one of the great names representing his label, Ellum Audio. His talent continues to cross borders with other releases on renowned labels such as his EP "The Gang 89" which was a global success on Diynamic Music, he also released a vinyl on the renowned label “Systematic” alongside Carl Cox Josh Wink, among other big names on the 20-year compilation.

In addition to playing in important clubs and national festivals such as Tomorrowland Brasil, Warung, Caos, Ame, Surreal Park, the artist also tours throughout South America, in countries such as Argentina and Colombia.
