Carmen, known as Friendly Frequencies, has become recognised for her unforgettable masked presence as she performs at festivals from North America to Asia to Australia. With unhinged robotic moves and an instinctive feel for the energy of the crowd, she brings life to stages and crowds wherever she moves. She describes her style as “animal exorcism” and treats every dance floor like a sacred space where collective expression can erupt. Her performances are emotionally raw, hypnotic, and deeply embodied. She is most often found front and centre at bass, dubstep, and DnB stages, moving like she’s possessed by the music itself.
