Darcy Doogan

Darcy Doogan AKA D3W4N, is one of the busier personalities in Sydney dance music. Primarily a House DJ, he’ll play anything funky, jazzy, bangin’, rollin and/or soulful. He has fought hard to avoid being pigeon-holed and it’s starting to pay off. In the last six months, he’s been:

- playing House and Disco at Tatler

- at Lucky Cat with Larry’s Herd and Norm De Plume

- playing Deep House and Techno at Groove Core Sundays

- supporting Purple Disco Machine at The Greenwood Hotel

- playing Techno at Psyheads or “Synthesis Presents Tracksuits Live”

- playing D&B at The Elements of Tech and Bass

- playing Deep, Afro, Acid, House, Breaks and Techno at a Bush Doof and Shenanigans @ Schirrmo's

Online, Darcy serves as admin for House and Techno Sydney (HATS), and Sydney Underground Electronic. He runs House event company/record label: Deeper Rhythms and techno events through Synthesis. Last July, he and fellow Sydney DJ Chic Daddy formed a deep house/disco collective called Larry’s Herd. He does a radio show on OzzMixx every week. Between all of this (and a day job), he also produces the occasional EP!
