Steve Pottz

Steve Pottz is a producer and performer from Sydney with the musical goal of producing funky music primarily to play Live, marrying genuine old-school jazz and blues keyboard skills with cutting edge house and techno grooves.

Using analogue and digital hardware synths combined with soft synths and drum machines, his live show is an improvised jam on original tracks with each performance following its own arc. Just like a live jazz improvisation, the music is always a surprise.

His live performance has been honed through clubs around Sydney and a few Burner events with major inspiration coming from playing at the last 4 Burning Man events in the US, the key event being a solo jam in the desert (often joined by random strangers).
