Montaña Azul
Montaña Azul (“Blue Mountain” in Spanish) started her production and DJ journey in 2018, soon after discovering the Australian doof scene. Her style ranges from downtempo to techno, including 50 shades of house, focusing more on tracks' atmospheres than on a specific genre. She likes contrasts mixing melancholic and ethereal melodies with groovy beats and taking her audience to unexpected auditory adventures. Based in Naarm (Melbourne), she regularly plays downtempo and techno in Melbourne's most iconic venues such as My Aeon or New Guernica and festivals, such as Esoteric Festival or Earth Frequency Festival. Under her other alias AZUL666, she recently released her first techno track with “Anomalie Collective” for which she’s a resident DJ.
