Mohilaa

Mohilaa is a fusion band, mixing soul, pop, dance, jazz and Bangla elements. Featuring South African/Bengali singer Tashmeen with her jazz/south Asian inspired runs, Oliver Gwilym with his dreamy soundscapes, and Rai Muchada and Kushi Aragon embodying the heartbeat of the band, Mohilaa takes the audience on a hypnotic, soul-nourishing and groove-inducing journey. It's core members, Tashmeen and Oliver, traipsed around Bangladesh and Nepal with their luggage, hiking gear, and a zoom recorder to find sounds to entwine with their album and live show, creating a rare crossover of influences. Mohilaa aims to share a message of connection, empowerment, and honesty.
