Techno and tech house music, with a generous helping of acid techno are the driving forces behind Gez’s hugely popular, thumping sets.

Gez has been obsessed with dance music since the nineties and was instrumental in creating some of the iconic early Doofs in the hinterland of Byron Shire from 1994 onwards.

Over the past five years Gez has relentlessly pursued her long held dream of honing her DJ skills and made her DJ debut in 2018. Gez has quickly gained a reputation for being able to rock the dancefloor. She possesses a natural ease behind the decks and has a deep understanding for what it takes to create a party.

Gez has played at festivals such as Splendour in the Grass, Earth Frequency 22, 23, & 24, Initiation Festival, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Mardigrass – High vibes stage 2025 and Jungle Love festival. She has played sets for events such as Northern Rhythms, Playground, Lab Leaked Beats, Wiggle, Electric Avenue, Dirty House, Reflections of Kohinur New Years Eve, Licorice Allsorts, Modulate, Last Resort, Balcony Beats, Glo Party, Turn up the Tav, Sonic Bloom, Hedonic and The Rhythm Gala.

Gez has played at clubs far and wide from Tasmania up to Elsewhere on the Gold Coast. Locally she has played for The Canopy Club, Lovers Lane and countless private parties.

She is also a regular guest on Bay FM’s long standing techno radio show Submerged with Si Clone. Together they also ran a successful monthly event; “Sunday Sounds” at Trawlers Bar in Brunswick Heads. Currently Gez and Si Clone have joined forces for a monthly residency at The Levee Bar, Lismore.
