In 2016 I began my journey as a DJ. After enjoying incredible events and unforgettable parties with friends, I felt the magnitude and beauty of the electronic music scene and knew it was time to express my passion for music in a new way.

During my first two years behind the decks I explored genres like Brazilian Bass, electronic tango, and remixed versions of blues and jazz. To push my exploration further, I hit the road with “Ela,” a 1992 Volkswagen van, spending months traveling and experimenting with different audiences, settings, and environments. I performed on the streets, in bars, restaurants, public parks, and friends’ homes. Along the way I combined music with other art forms, collaborating with independent artists such as the renowned painter and visual artist Lobo, who transformed the van’s bodywork into a moving artwork to the sound of Oriundos, my musical project at the time. My journey also took me beyond my country’s borders, from Brazil to Argentina, to learn, collaborate, and discover new possibilities. Upon returning to Brazil I performed at my first festival, Aldeia Trance, playing two sets on the chill out stage. It was the beginning, a strong and meaningful beginning, of a journey that would grow with each passing day.

Years later I had the chance to play using a friend’s USB drive filled with techno tracks. That moment sparked something new in me, leading me into a genre I had never explored before, along with many exciting subgenres. From melodic techno to progressive house, with touches of deep house, I felt a connection deeper than with any style I had played before. As I discovered this new sound, I was also discovering myself in the country I had chosen to call home. Australia resonated with me like the steady, intense lines of my latest downloads.

I kept doing what I loved, recording sets and blending music with videos captured during my travels and adventures. Playing on the streets remained a passion and a powerful way to connect with people, taking me to places like Byron Bay, Nimbin, and through Queensland. The road, my speaker, and my controller turned every journey into an unforgettable experience.

In Brisbane I created a few events that brought together DJs from different parts of the world to celebrate music, friendship, and nature. In 2023, back in Sydney, I was invited to play at Sutra. My style, still evolving, shifted for that occasion toward progressive house, moving a little bit away from the melancholic tones of melodic techno that had once been my signature.

Not long after, an invitation I had never imagined arrived, Universo Paralello. The gates to the largest festival in Latin America opened for me. As the year turned, I performed on the Pirata stage, a space for emerging artists. It was a magical return to Brazil, this time as part of something grand and unforgettable. With my partner by my side, I lived intense moments embraced by music.

Now I am preparing to play at Subsonic, a festival that once left a lasting mark on me as a spectator, revealing a side of electronic music celebration I had never experienced before.
