Fox Box - the grass is greener inside!

Artist Statement:

As an artist and single mother deeply connected to nature, resilience, and transformation, I created Fox Box as a gentle counterpoint to the frenzy of the outside world. Inspired by the theme “The Grass is Always Greener,” this piece plays with the idea that the most fertile ground often lies inside us — in stillness, imagination, and presence.

I have been awarded grants to various events over the last year with my art box cube tent. It transforms each time. I will include photos of ‘The Ember Box’ for a visual. More photos are available to view on my Instagram account. There has been a Dinosaur disco at Neomenia and a Doodle Box at the third degree, soon to become a Time Machine - and hopefully a Fox Box at Subsonic - where I’ve come to dance the last few years now!

Since completing my BFA and exhibiting paintings - I’m finding interactive art installations a very satisfying and rewarding experience.

I don’t have a photo to share of my current vision for Subsonic. I have another event beforehand and creating any ther installation can only be done with pre approval as there is a lot of time and effort needed to create a theme - such as a Fox Box! 🦊 (But have included examples from recent events)
