Temple for the Time Being

The Temple for the Time Being is your own sacred sanctuary hosted by shamans, babas and wisdom keepers. They invite you to leave your head chatter at the door, and enter a temporal realm of personal reinvention, learning and discovery. Get an introduction to healing herbs, bush tucker, and learn to massage your partner (yes please!)! Expand your mind into uncharted waters with presentations on 'reality selection', 'sex, love and evolution', 'navigating the shift', 'authentic soul retrieval', and 'neo shamanism'.

To add to the levity, celebrants will marry event goers, both to each other and themselves. That's right! For those strict Catholics out there who feel like a bit of erm.. fun, you can sign up to get married in the Temple for the Time Being! As for the rest of you… go on!, it's a golden photo op. waiting to happen!

In the evening, the Temple transforms into a yummy, held and hosted Heart Space Sanctuary. Come and share the blissful vibes.

The Tantric Turtle Cafe ~ A Chai Tent with a Gypsy Twist ~ Bursts of colour and the delectable aroma of spices spill out of an old Dodge truck recycled into a gypsy caravan. Tantric Turtle offers a sensual, bedouin style sanctuary in the whirlpool of festival festivities. Specialising in home-made chai, great coffee, wicked chocolate brownies, awesome organic cakes, tasty breakfasts, and other delights. This year, an expanded Tantric Turtle Cafe will feature a live program of entertainment through the day, with a mixed bag of music and lively discussions. Subsonic's resident herbal alchemist Tedi G* will be available, providing just what you need to get you through! Early evening, the Café gets wild with some insane cabaret from Wacko and Blotto, and kick ass performances from Animistix, Alice Space Doll, and the inimitable, growling, purring, hillbilly blues act, White Knuckle Fever! Fuckn' yeah! The vibe drifts into ambient music in the wee hours with special guests Darpan and China Sky for a sublime unwind…
