Do's & Don'ts

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (PLEASE READ):

 

  1. check the website for all updates and before travelling to the event www.subsonicmusic.com.au
  2. Be sure to print the directions before driving to the festival site. You can find them by heading to “The venue” page on this website.
  3. This is an over 18’s event. Children are permitted but must be in the company of their parent or legal guardian. Ticket holders must show ID at the entrance to the festival.
  4. This ticket admits 1 person only. Do not share your barcode with people or you may be denied entry.
  5. The right of admission is reserved. No ticket, No entry.
  6. Do not remove your wristband. Anybody without a wristband will be asked to pay entry or asked to leave. If you are worried your wristband will fall off, it can be replaced at the info tent.

  1. Camping is included in the ticket price.
  2. Camp only in designated areas.
  3. No Campfires allowed. Gas stoves are ok (unless in case of full fire ban).
  4. Hot Showers are available for all patrons. The public amenities block will be open during specified hours (check the festival program). Please respect the signage telling you when the bathrooms are closed.
  5. Respect the local community. The locals have been kind enough to let us don this fabulous event in their area so please respect them and the surrounding properties.
  6. No wandering outside of festival grounds. Please do not go exploring as it is out of bounds and you will be trespassing.
  7. The Festival entertainment area is licensed, but the camping area is BYO. ID will be required. Acceptable forms of ID include Drivers License, Proof of Age, Passport.
  8. No ATM on site.
  9. No glass at any entertainment area. Campsites only please. Security will be checking this so please excuse them if they ask you to leave your glass at your camp or in the recycling.
  10. The possession, sale or use of illicit substances is prohibited. Offenders will be removed from site and subject to Police action.
  11. Excessive use of alcohol will not be tolerated. Please drink responsibly.
  12. No animals are permitted on site. This will be enforced
  13. Have fun!
  14. The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for any injury, loss or damages sustained while entering or on the site.
  15. Passouts are available during daylight only. Do not drive if you are under the influence.
  16. Vehicles may only be driven if you are entering or exiting the festival. No motorised transport including scooters, mopeds etc
  17. The town of Stroud is 25 minutes from the festival. Check the venue page to find local businesses for camping supplies, food, drinks and more (click on “The Locals” button).
  18. No generators or independent sound systems allowed.
  19. Swimming is only allowed in designated areas. Swimming is prohibited at night. No diving in the river...it’s too shallow!
  20. Please be careful not to damage any of the beautiful flora or fauna on or entering the festival site.
  21. Please consider the environment. Garbage bags and personal ashtrays will be provided. . Riverwood Downs is a beautiful site and we hope you will help us to keep it neat and tidy throughout.
  22. Clean your campsite up when leaving the festival and be sure to leave your camp site how you found it.
  23. Bring sunscreen, warm clothes, money (no atm on site), a hat, a smile, and some camping gear/ shelter.
  24. Drinking water will be available for free (from the tap) or to purchase on site. We encourage you to stay well rested and hydrated.
